With so many multi billion dollar industries in the world why are people still starving to death?

multi billion dollar industries include pornography and cosmetics. its quite disgusting isnt it?

Ask yourself why these people are starving to death? I mean why not get a job right? They don’t have the basic necessities of life that we have, i.e. food, housing, adequate water supply, modern sewage treatment facilities, the list could go on. No business will locate to an area where they have to be the one to burden the creation of all of this stuff just so that they can hire workers to make their product (which they then hope to be able to sell at a profit). While this sounds like a cruel diagnosis, it is the reason why you have multi-billion industries and people starving at the same time. In a lot, you can’t exactly mass produce food within the specific country due to the environment (good luck growing stuff in the desert). It’s sad, but this is why people starve to death.
