How do i sell my collector’s ed. Guild Wars and the account?
I have a VERY rare Collector’s Edition of Guild Wars that I wanna sell. I, however, have used the key years back to create my account. What’s the best way to transfer that account to someone else so I can sell it on ebay, half, etc?
You can’t. Accounts aren’t really transferable and if you’re caught by Arenanet the account will be perma-banned. Ebay doesn’t permit account sales for this reason.
That doesn’t mean there aren’t a lot of folks selling accounts on shady sites but most of these sellers turn out to be scammers that sell the account to an unsuspecting victim then yank it back a month later to re-sell. (Yeah, even if the new owner changes the account password the original owner can still reclaim it. Yet another reason account transfers aren’t allowed)
