Why is the Silver Surfer replaced with Beta Ray Bill in Planet Hulk?
In the plot summaries it showed that silver surfer was the one enslaved by the red king but was freed after his shocking device broke. But in the movie version it was this weird guy dressed like thor but looks like a giraffe. Did they change it in the movie or was he also a minor character in Planet Hulk? If they did change it…Why???
It had to do with movie rights. Silver Surfer was in a movie already. And, he is suppose to get her own movie. So, getting movie rights for Planet Hulk just wasn’t, and didn’t, happen. No one cares about the rights of Beta Ray Bill(Thor wannabee).
