Which Superheroes and Supervillains should go into our game?

My friend and I are working on a video game thats going to team up as many super heores and super villains as possible, we’re looking for ideas, and please, none of this “NINJA TURTLES!” crap, we’re looking for actual superheroes. We have a list started so here’s who we already have on our list, these characters are subject to change:

Just out of curiosity, have you considered the legal implications of using the characters you have named? They are not in the public domain, and I certainly get the impression that you haven’t liscensed the use of any of the characters nor intend to. Marvel has paralegals checking public venues like this trying to find and shut down any website that offers scans or files of any copyrighted Marvel material. If they are willing to serve a Cease and Desist order to a website that has scans of a few Spider-Man and/or X-Men stories, imagine what they would do to someone who apparently intends to pirate their characters for a video game.

I advise you to consider using either original characters or using “superheroes” from the public domain. The link below is to Bill Nolan’s “Pure Excitement Comics” which features a wealth of stories that have public domain “superheroes,” if that will help. Personally, I would not be interested in another video game using Marvel characters, since there are so many already, but I would be intrigued by a video game that featured characters that haven’t appeared anywhere in over fifty years. I would like to know what would happen if Vulcan fought Sub-Zero or Doctor Frost (characters from different defunct comics publishers) and the game you are developing might be the closest thing.
