Lifting gay ban on military service?
I am all for lifting the ban! We can form a special unit of gay servicemen that can serve as advance infantry for the regular army. These troops would be in a special brigade known as the In and out, In and out Brigade! And naturally there would be a liaison branch serving with the navy, this group would be known as Special Elite Men Equipped Navel, or just SEMEN for short. Any thoughts?

I spent 11 years in the Navy on surface ships. There were always gay guys aboard the ships and their identities were generally known. They did their share of work and could be counted on when they were needed. They were good shipmates. What they did sexually was generally done ashore and what happened aboard ship was rarely discussed.
