Batman Arkham Aslyum gameplay style?

hey all ,

i was planning on buying batman arkham aslyum but i wanted to know what it’s gameplay is like, is it free roam or is it like resident evil 5 where after you finish the game you can replay chapters. or just basic from one mission to another and ocne you finish the game thats it?

Howdy. Firstly, Batman Arkham Asylum is a great game. You do receive what could be considered missions, and you walk to the destinations, investigate and make your own way there. But essentially, you have more control of your character than Resident Evil 5. In Resident Evil you sorta do one mission, than movie scene then different place new mission. In Batman you complete a objective, then you get a another film sequence and resume form the same place at the same time. See Batman is confined to the Island, so you can walk around all you like during the game, and you have the option to redo missions again afterwards. Plus like Resident Evil, there are a selection of extra challenges to complete as well.
