venomous snake keepers?

There is something I wonder about.
I live in Texas where there are tornado’s.
Does anyone in “Tornado Alley”,who keeps venomous snakes,
take any special precautions to keep them “storm proof”?
As bad as the aftermath of a tornado is,it would only get
worse if mamba’s and Gaboon Vipers were scattered in the wreckage
for rescue personnel to have to face.

YES!!! I just keep them with me at all times. It not only keeps me and the animals safe, chicks dig big snakes too. I personally do it just to attract the girls, but there are some benefits i have to admit. If you cannot carry around your snakes at all times, then you should keep them in a small, dark, non ventilated area, they find this very soothing, and afterward, will sleep almost to eternity. Keeping snakes confined to a small plastic box with no holes in it also will keep the neighbors happy and safe.
